| ||West Yorkshire of Harrogate, as part of the Tilling group, was one of the original operators of this type of vehicle. Their RELH coaches were used between Yorkshire and London as well as services across the pennines to Lancashire/Merseyside. See here for details of the express services that the company was operating in the early 1970s. Several of West Yorkshire's RELHs were rebuilt by Willowbrook to 'improve' them. The rebuilt ones only outlasted the unrebuilt ones by a couple of months, and none now survive.|
West Yorkshire's vehicles were renumbered several times. They started off with alpha-numerics (CRG/CRL) then changed to numeric with the coaches being numbered in the 1000 series. Later on the RELHs were renumbered into the 2300 or 2500 series as their use changed to dual-purpose. Because of this the fleet list will look better sorted by registration number.
